What is full coverage auto insurance?

What is full coverage auto insurance?

It is the state minimum plus Comprehensive and Collision.
Comprehensive covers theft, fire, vandalism and storm damage. Pretty much anything that doesn't involve a collision(crash).
Collision covers damages done by a collision, hitting another vehicle, or someones property.
That is pretty much the idea of full coverage and things like rental/towing, med pay are all extras that are not in Comp/Coll. So even if your insurance says you have "full coverage" it doesn't mean you are literally covered for anything. I always here I need a tow truck and they will say I have full coverage and in reality they have comp/coll but no towing coverage.
